Registration is 100% online.
To use the RAMP system, you create an account at our registration site https://www.rampregistrations.com/login?v3=4a56c54dfd and then continue to add family members to the account. The registration site will walk you through the steps. See above chart for what division to register your player.
When registering your player, the player must be registered under the required age prior to January 1st of the current year. Please register your player in the proper age category, after which time a request can be made to the board to move your player up or down an age category.
If you still have questions after going through the process - or have difficulties registering - please contact the VMBA Registrar at vminorball@gmail.com.
As a not-for-profit organization, Vermilion Minor Ball needs parents and community members to volunteer to ensure a season can occur. Therefore, there is an expectation with your registration that you will volunteer a minimum of 4 hours for each family who is registered with VMBA.
Volunteers can sign up to coach, assistant coach, or manage a team or sign up to be an executive member through the same registration site as players.
If a volunteer is interested in another opportunity to get involved, you can find a list of vacant board and executive positions on our website. Parents signing up to be on the VSA executive or serve a board position will have all hours for all players covered. Please email vminorball@gmail.com if you are interested in one of these positions even if they are filled. Volunteers change and shift between seasons and succession planning is an important part of a successfully run organization.
There are also hourly positions available in the form of work bees, tournament help, and equipment organizing. Check the website under Volunteer Here to sign up for hourly shifts.
Volunteer bonds can be provided as one cheque per family with no date written out for $250 and a bond cheque of $50 per player with no date on it.
Bonds are required for family.
1) All refunds are subject to a minimum $40.00 administration fee, except where refunds are given for lack of registrations in the age group, and must be approved by the Executive.
2) Request for a refund must be sent in writing (email) to the registrar vminorball@gmail.com stating the reason.
3) No refunds will be allowed once registrations have closed for the season.
4) Refunds may be granted should a player incur an injury that hinders their participation in training or games. The refund will be prorated minus all non-refundable charges.
5) Refunds will be granted without the requirement of written request if there are not enough players to field a team.
6) When the registrar receives a refund request, it will go through the approval process and be forwarded to the treasurer. The refund should be processed within two weeks.
Registration closes on March 22, 2025. Players are not considered registered until all registration fees and bond amounts have been received by the treasurer. Players who have not paid by March 31 will not be placed on a team and players may lose their spot if team rosters are full. Late registrations are accepted on a case by case basis if there is room on the roster for the added player.
